Eurovision: You Decide

Since 2016, the BBC has decided the UK Eurovision entry with a live televised national selection show.

In 2016, Mel Giedroyc presented the programme on Friday 26th February from the o2 Forum in Kentish Town.

In 2017, Mel returned but this time on BBC2, not BBC4, from the Hammersmith Apollo on Friday 27th January.

In 2018, Eurovision winner from 2015 Måns Zelmerlöw joined Mel on presenting duties on Wednesday 7th February. The show was filmed at the historic Brighton Dome, the venue of Abba's victory in 1974.

In 2019, Måns and Mel returned on Friday 8th February on BBC2 from MediaCity in Salford.

The BBC conducted an internal selection process for the first time in history for the five years 2011 to 2015.
